Lorraine is getting married... and we are gonna parrrrrtttaaaay.
waited too late to do my laundry... in my procrastination, i blew a fuze... and in my prepared-ness, i forgot where i stored the extra....
and now it's the wee hours anddddd
i'm waiting for clothes to dry.
such is life.
mom is in the living room watching Superstar. she won't go to sleep until i do. she's such a mom. such a great mom that is losing so much sleep to take her daughter & her friends to the airport. sleeping on their couch because my bed is too high for her to reach! throwing things in a backpack. praying i don't forget the essentials: toothbrush, a good book, dress for the wedding, and underwear. what else do you need?
welp, i'm off to pretend like i'm not sleepy.
Kelley and Rachel are amazing. running errands for me this week, while i'm out "on holiday." they're helping my fanny pack calendar EXSIST! futurely that is.

saw Brand New last night....
wasn't going to go with all that's going on but it was just what was needed.
to be around laughter and music.
not be bombarded with "can you be here? wait... the plans changed, go there. when can you? no, it has to be the worst time for you to make it work. actually you need to make the plans"....
a nap is beckoning... when i arise BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN will leave the treehouse & run amok on the haunted trail...

| dad's at the heart hospital for electrical cardioversion.
mom's there with him. she goes in for another thyroid scan on thursday. to get her body ready, she takes a radioactive pill on wednesday. i'm praying she'll turn into Spider(wo)man.
it's the saddest experience to see the mortality of your parents...
